It was a good night for some Prog. The Palladium Upstairs hosted several local prog bands and Melbourne Australia’s Twelve Foot Ninja.
Vivisepulture is a local symphonic metal group from Boston. This band comes out of a youth band program called Plugged In. The program provides a great atmosphere for teens to form bands, and experience playing music live. Every session supports a charitable cause chosen by the students.
Zombie Frogs is an instrumental progressive metal group formed at Berklee College of Music. This group had no shortage of technical riffs.
Protean Collective is also a progressive metal band from Boston. They also share a connection to the Plugged in program, as their guitarist Steph Goyer is one of the instructors. Their new LP “The Red and The Grey” is out now on their Bandcamp.
Twelve Foot Ninja
Twelve Foot Ninja is a progressive rock band from Melbourne Australia. Every song on their record “Silent Machine” comes with a comic that was co authored by their guitarist.
