Why Claim my Venue Page?

There are many reason why you’d want to take ownership of your venue page. Here are the three main reasons why it’s important to claim the venue page or pages you manage.

	Exclusive control over content presented on that page. Once you claim your page it is no longer a Wiki editable listing. Meaning only the users who have claimed the listing can add and edit it’s content. This gives you total control over all the details posted on your page. A promoter can still tag your venue on an event and it will show up under the past or upcoming event tab on your page.
	Quick link on Dashboard. This makes it easy to access your page and events scheduled at your venue. No need to use the search bar or go to the venue list to find your venue page. If you manage multiple venues you will get a quick link to all of them.
	Easy access to manage upcoming gigs. From the manage gigs screen use the “Select Venue” drop down to view only gigs at venues you have claimed. This is very convenient if you manage the calendar at multiple venues. It gives you the control to view only what you want to see.
