Most Boston-area musicians know legendary Shred by reputation, if not personally.  He has spent the better part of almost 30 years investing in, and building up the Boston music scene.   He’s also been the man behind the shows for dozens of hot rock clubs from The Middle East to Oliver’s Nightclub at Cask’n Flagon.

Whether you met him as a DJ at the Paradise Rock Club or listened to him on the radio at WFNX & WBCN, there’s a good chance that Shred has influenced the music that’s entered your sphere on a very personal level.  As Local Music Director and on-air personality at the legendary Boston rock radio station WFNX, Shred hosted the annual band competition, Rock & Roll Rumble that spawned nationally acclaimed winners Dresden Dolls, Bleu, The Sheila Divine, Darkbuster and Township.

MusicIDB is excited to welcome Shred Boston to our prestigious Board of Advisers.
